Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
Summary
The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the Company’s building, machinery and mechanical equipment in such a manner that enables the Company to meet its goals for on-time delivery of quality products in an efficient and cost effective manner.
General Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience in the maintenance operations of a manufacturing enterprise, involving a variety of CNC machining centers, with expertise in Haas and Fadal equipment. Knowledge of plumbing, hydraulics and pneumatics, with a general understanding of Preventative Maintenance (“PM”) processes and good safety practices, with demonstrated technical understanding, attention to detail. Must have a demonstrated ability to read and understand blueprints, diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications. A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure efficient operation of building, machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on building, engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, production and other machines to minimize unscheduled downtime of production capabilities, while maximizing the useful lives of our building and equipment.
Efficiently and effectively respond to malfunctions of machinery and mechanical equipment to minimize unscheduled downtime.
Constantly monitor mechanical devices in operation to anticipate and prevent potential problems, using measuring and testing instruments as appropriate.
Remove and replace defective parts by dismantling devices in a safe and efficient manner; use these opportunities to determine what, if any, other procedures should be performed while the equipment is down.
Determine and maintain specified dimensional capabilities of all mechanical devices through inspection, measurement or other procedures using rules, calipers, micrometers, and/or other measuring instruments as necessary.

Minimize downtime of machinery and mechanical devices by following PM plans.
When timely and economically feasible, fabricate repair parts by using internal resources.
Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with OSHA and Company procedures, rules, and regulations.
Ability to work as part of a team to ensure achievement of Company goals
